Yea, not a problem, there will be other cars.......ie. 4 800+hp supra's (12 sec. cars that run 180mph! LOL), and a Skyline GTR V-spec. Should be pretty nice. I'll look at my schedule and figure out a good day. I just started my own Plumbing Company and have a new born son so things are a bit crazy.

Ernie, I saw your car at PFS yesterday. Looked pretty sweet, one large turbo.

What happened to that other manifold / throttle body set up I saw in your pictures on the rx7club?

That was pretty much a "race setup" only. The injectors are so high up on the manifold, which is good for power, but not for streetability, plus there wasn't any plenum I decided to go back to the stock manifolds. it sort of runs, eip did some inital tuning. I runs okay until you get into the boost then it falls on it's face. I think Dee is going to finish up the tuning. I didn't end up with a rotary I went with a single turbo ls1 motor.

It was going rich, but there were a few things going on. It was overboosting due to a faulty wastegate spring which then cause the methanol injection to dump lots of alky in to it and we think that is what was killing power with a rich mixture. In the end the meth injection probabbly saved the motor, but EIP was not able to get a good tuning done with boost.



You can see in the video how the first run makes a lot of flames and then towards the end of the video they are smaller. EIP was leaning it out, but the Meth was still dumping in.
