With only minor repairs needed, I would charge about $3000.

You can get cheaper, and you will get just that- cheap.

Im talking full primer that will be wet sanded after ( not a wet-on-wet primer) as well as wet sanding and polishing the car after paint as well. All DuPont products, epoxy based primer, and either polyurethane or base/with imron polyurethane clear.

Done in a spray booth and baked. Paint guranteed by DuPont because we are a certified shop as well as workmanship.

You can get someone who wont prime, or will spot prime or

use laquer primer, and will use cheap paint, or use a brand name base

with no name cheapo clear. Like anything else, you get what you pay for.

it would be easier for you to just come out this way one day if

you were serious about getting some work done.

I answered the guys question thats all. If im telling someone a price, I like to tell them why the price is what it is so I mention everything that goes into that type of job.

I could further elaborated and said what kind of job he could get for lets say $2000. But I didnt. I didnt even say nothing in this post until he asked for a roundabout price.

You can do it cheaper because you are a shop not a garage? What does this have to do with anything? Im not a "garage"

I work for a US Paint/AwlGrip/DuPont CERTIFIED shop. We are licensed, and insured. Who said anything about a garage? I was giving a price for a good quality paint job, done in a booth. You can go ahead and paint all the cars you want for whatever price you want to paint them for, it doesnt matter to me, and I dont know why you directed your post at me. You should have just told him a price to paint, and listed what kind of job he would get for that price, instead you post that bullshit post and dont even list a price or the work performed.

Why dont you post the price, and the work that will be performed, and what type of paint and primers will be used instead of posting nothing.

Are you going to respond?

That comment didnt sound at all like you were promoting 'your' shop.

I thought you were looking for a job anyhow?

i was looking for a job, thanks for reminding me, but since then i have gotten deeper into it and business is blooming and im doing jsut fine, also my dealer plan is going perfectly well, so i am not looking for work bu if youd like to offer me something im more than open to any suggestions,

also i do charge less because i do it quick and i have volume, although no booth im more than possitive that the car will leave my shop just as good looking as if it were to leave yours. i use PPG products just like i said above, i CAN although use any product out there at the request of the customer, as well as any amounts of coating and pearls and flakes and clears and multi stage paints,

on another note most of my work is done on highline cars, (PORSCHE, BENTLEY, FERRARI, ME/BE, BMW, AUDI) and im sure you understand that cars like that dont get fixed by bullshit shops that do bullshit work, i also do alot of work for a EXOTIC only dealer which highly reccomends me to his customers.

i DO NOT need the business from here, and am here to have a good time to meet people with same interest as mine in the RX7, so lets leave it at that, i have no intention to argue with you nor do i want to,

so on that note.

I have a body shop and will help anyone here, and will discount if nopistons is mentioned.

Conversation is over!
