Kayo Clark, clark racing chassis in lisbon, md.

1700 bucks for a cage NHRA/IDRA legal to 8.50's

What are you lookin to have done? (btw you dont have to be secret with your plans )

If you want some contact info let me know and I will PM it to you. What are you looking to have done? He honestly might not take the car because he is really busy, but it is worth a try. His fabrication is top notch, I am extremely impressed with the cage. The best part is the sidebars, (stupid me forgot to take a pic today) which went in with NO cutting of the door pannels at all. Most other cages I have seen have had the door pannel cut to ****.

Anyways, I loaded the car up on the trailer tonight and im going to tow it to the shop tomorrow, where the final buildup will be performed. I am broke (like broke...broke) so I hope I can make this work...

Jerico might get put on hold for a little bit, I want the car to drive quickly because i miss it! I would have to wait so i can afford to pay kayo to make the torque arm (ppf) and transmission cross member.

Ill throw some pics up of the DP, looks pretty sweet. Just check that link posted above.

Bobby

I am looking to do an 8 point cage legal just like yours to 8.5. Is that $1700 for chromoly or is it mild steel? I found a place in PA not to far away that will do a 8 point for $1800 out of chromoly. If it is chromoly make some calls I have the cash ready and I need a cage badly.

As far as my setup I will give you some info I am not trying to hide anything:

I am dumping the 200-4r in favor of either a turbo 400 or a powerglide (havent decided yet)

As far as motor

LS1 based

408 CI stroker

about 13.5:1 compression

solid roller

big cam in the 270/270 range

forged crank, pistons etc

lots of aluminum parts in the motor to keep rotating mass down

The builder promised me I would be north of 650rwhp naturally. That would be running race gas to maximize the tune but it will be able to run pump gas just not real well.

On top of that I will be spraying it with something around a 150-200 shot of the juice.

I am also thinking of ditching the IRS in the rear but I havent decided about that either.

Like I said it should be interesting between us this season.

No tubeframe car. Just a little ole streetcar with a tiny hairdryer on the side and a couple lbs. of boost.
