Is it wrong that I already want to put heads and a cam on the motor? I think I may need it after Bobby gets his car going. Mid 11's aint gonna cut it Tom and unfortuneately I dont think it is gonna be me that is the first to go 11.5 or better.

Why reinvent the wheel? Would I waste time inventing toilet paper made out of teflon so it was "cutting edge" or would I use something that works.

Rednecks? Come on now the LS1 is a more technologically advanced motor than the rotary. True it is a piston engine but it is about as far from an old 350 as it is from the space shuttle. How much inginueity did YOU use to get your motor and turbo going? None because it was a bolt on like people have been using for 100 years.

I see you have been hanging around with some die hard rotary folks lately huh.

I will keep my "Redneck" powered 11 second car and we can have a little test of how long yours keeps running versus mine. Oh wait you have to get it running first then you need to get it in the 11's, maybe I should do this test with Tom his only seems to be not running 1/3 of the time.

HAHA

Oh yeah and the rotary and turbo's arent exactly new cutting edge tech either they are just different than what we are accustom too thats all. Nothing on a 10 year old car is quite "cutting edge"

But shouldnt you be out in the garage chasing down a vacuum leak rather than in here with all this crazy talk.

Wow i was just poking fun...not ment to be offensive there bud

I dont mind your swap. And if there was a car perfect for the swap it was yours. Its clean as hell, but i still think rotarys belong in rx-7's.

I was just throwing it back at you, like I said you guys have been really cool about the swap even if you think it is wrong and you wouldnt do it.

It is good to have a little competition though and I know you and Tom are going to be busting your asses to keep my Piston powered freak from being the fastest of the three of us!!

If there are 3 RX7's in the low 11's or hell even 10's it would be awesome. Right now I am guessing we will be very close but only time will tell.

Again I was just playin around with you guys its all in good fun.

Good slow rotary powered fun
