BTW I headed up to Mason-Dixon on Sunday (Cold AS HELL) and saw the first racing of the year. Not a big turn out but still nice to smell tire rubber.

I ran into Paul Efantis up there too in his wifes street car (Supra). Definately cracked off a 10.8 @138 on drag radials.

That thing gets silly once he hits 3rd.

If you didnt know he has the record for the fastest DR car running in the low 8's last year. He is from New Market and went to good old Linganore High School. This year he is racing a sponsered Solara with a 2JZe motor. Good to see a local guy being successful.

I'll talk to the guy this week and let you know. What exactly are you looking to do? What color? What body work needs to be done?

Door jams painted, engine bay (black for the right price other wise no engine bay), body work: the passenger fender was tweeked a smidge by EIP (VERY minor straightening) but I have a new front bumper, otherwise some sanding and the body should be fine. I also have new weatherstripping for the windshield and hatch so they can take those out to make it easier to paint and I have the weatherstripping if they could reinstall it otherwise I can have someone else do it.

I want to paint the car Electron Metallic Blue it is a chevy color used on the Vettes.

Also anyone interested in a kirk 4pt roll bar? I am working on getting one and they are cheaper if you get 2 shipped to the same place. Right around $300 and all you would need is someone local to put in removable door bars and it would be NHRA legal to 10.00. MKOCK had one in his car unfortunately I cant post it but it looks damn good and will be a ton cheaper than having one custom built.

Bobby?? I know you were talking about it.

Anyone else in MD the more we get the more of a price break we could get.

Chassis engineering quoted a guy 300 some for a 6point w/ removeable sidebar...Or a 4 point. I'm not sure if i want a jungle gym in my car yet :P

I will need to see where that goes first..

I dont want a bolt in, its not REALLY NHRA legal, even though you can get away with it.
