It was nice to have met you all and get to put faces to all the names, I had an all over great time! I'm so glad I didn't miss it. The Autocross was badass and props to the people who put it all together and made it happen.

My hats off to Jim for underwriting the event and to Scott and Kris for the work they did!

Yes, the turnout was disappointing, but it was good to meet a few of you. I know you guys were emphasizing "quality and not quantity," but at some point, I think it is better to give in and "allow" some advertising on Rx7club and other such forums so that a forum volunteer such as Jim doesn't lose thousands of dollars. The location was a bit screwy, but I would imagine that it is quite difficult to find somewhere similar to do an autocross event. Overall, I had a good time. Maybe next time I see you guys, I'll have my FD back and the FC will be supercharged.

I'm finally home. That was the best 4 days of my life. So much racing, so much alcohol, so little sleep. Meeting all the new people was great. I anticipate my return to the sunshine state in august when I start house hunting

As far as advertising, it was advertised on google and many other websites, 90% of the people on other forums were notified when i sent an email to all 13,000+ members of this forum monitarily wise for a multitude of reasons the event can't be considered a success.

First of all I'd like to say that I had a great time meeting the people that I did for the first time and I look forward to seeing you all again at the next event. As far as np regulars go, I met banzaitoyota, turbovr6, baldy, edna, twinturborx7pete, sorsha, cantgostraight, pianoprodigy, and alex (can't remember his screen name) all for the very first time.

I had a blast, I don't think i've laughed as much, and consumed as much alcohol in 3 days ever. The driving was awesome of course. I was happy to begin with, just to be driving my own car, because as of the friday before it was looking like it wouldn't be making the trip.

A huge thanks to Just Racing Fabrications, Himiniracing, Pettit racing and banzaitoyota, for attending, and for the gifts and prizes given away on saterday. I don't think many people left the event empty handed. Some of the prizes were worth hundreds of dollars!! It was an honor to have the sponsors involved.

Of course a big thanks to Jim for fronting much of the money involved, and obviously sorry for the lack of reimbursment. I think some of the money issues do need to be addressed, but that is no reason to halt such a rewarding event for all that were able to attend. I think half the fun was spending time with people that you share so much in common with, and have talked to daily on nopistons.

I think with a little better planning, and a few minor sacrifices we can have a much leaner but meaner npwt 06 for sure. Maybe even right here in good ol port st lucie.

Of course thanks to scott, jay, steve, john, jim, mike, and jamie w. and scott w. for making this event a reality. Keep up the good fight.

well next year I'll be helping out more and trying to avoid having anyone take a finantial hit. I know this was'nt done with the intentions of making money, but loosing any money, or cost of products is a serious issue that needs to be delt with. The important thing at this point is that everyone who attended had a good time, and left with no complaints.

The amount of laughter and alcohol we consumed were definatly way out of control. why order a mug of beer when you can just get your own pitcher? The best part was meeting alot of members in person for the first time. Everyone was just as great as they are out here on the boards.

Damir gets the awards for Mr. Slick, AKA the cheap tipper, and also gets the award for "NP member most likely to get shanked"

Can't wait till next year.

Jim, I'm so sorry you lost that much money. The venues and the hotel were nothing short of awesome.

For what it's worth Jim, I don't think I've ever had a better time in my life, car running or not. I had so much fun this past weekend. Cars during the day, and drunken stuper at night. I made some good friends this weekend. It was great! I would be willing to be way more money next year to do this again. Hopefully something will work out that it can happen again.
