Checking My Info To See If Im Clear On Things
#1
Ok, Im new to all this so please bare with me, Iv only been to one RX-7 function JAX meet a couple months ago.
Show and Shine is on friday the 11th
driving school and autocross is on sat the 12th
open autocross is sun the 13th
im not competing in the show and Shine cause my cars not any where near show, but i want to do the driving school and the autocross. So driving school is sat morning and autocross follows and will cost me 50 bucs for school and 30 for autocross?
The 30 for autocross gets me into the retreat and a passanger for all three days?
what saftey gear is needed? I have none.
Any other delails I should know about?
Any advice for me?
Thanks Alot

Show and Shine is on friday the 11th YES
driving school and autocross is on sat the 12th YES
open autocross is sun the 13thYES, THE SUNDAY AUTOCROSS IS NOT TECHNICALLY PART OF THE RETREAT, IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT WE WILL ALREADY BE AT THE FACILITY, AND HAVE PAID FOR THE FACILITY SO ALL THE WINTER RETREAT MEMBERS, ENTER THE "MARTINS SCC" AUTOCROSS FOR FREE. THERE WILL BE A VARIETY OF CARS COMPETING IN THE AUTOCROSS ON SUNDAY.
im not competing in the show and Shine cause my cars not any where near show, THERE MIGHT JUST BE A CLASS FOR YOU THEN! but i want to do the driving school and the autocross. So driving school is sat morning and autocross follows and will cost me 50 bucs for school and 30 for autocross? CORRECT
The 30 for autocross gets me into the retreat and a passanger for all three days? CORRECT
what saftey gear is needed? I have none. ALL THAT WILL BE NEEDED FOR SURE IS A HELMENT, THERE SHOULD BE A COUPLE LOANER HELMENTS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY ONE FOR THE EVENT. YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING A PAIR OF PANTS JUST IN CASE, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF MARTINS SCC ON SUNDAY. ALSO, REMEMBER YOU AND YOUR CAR WILL SEE THE G-FORCES THAT MANY RACE CARS DO ON ROAD COURSES, SO MAKE SURE THE INTERIOR OF YOUR CAR IS CLEAN, AND ANY MOBILE OBJECTS ARE SECURED WELL EX. SUBWOOFERS, CAR AMPS, BATTERY, ECT..
Any other delails I should know about? ANYTHING THAT YOU MIGHT NEED FOR YOUR CAR TO MAKE IT RACE WORTHY. TIRE GAUGES, LUG KEY, YOUR CAR SPECIFIC STUFF
ALSO YOU MIGHT WANT TO BRING SOME LOOSE CASH AS WELL, THERE WILL BE VENDER (S) ON SITE, BUT WE ARE STILL UNSURE ON WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED AND AT WHAT COST JUST YET. FINGER FOODS WILL PROVIDED, BUT TO EAT WELL WILL COST A LITTLE.
Any advice for me? GET A DECENT NIGHTS SLEEP BEFORE THE SCHOOL AND PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR SAYS TO YOU, AND MAKE CORRECTIONS ACCORDINGLY. AND MOST OF ALL HAVE FUN!!
Thanks Alot

it's very fun. Not to mention that it makes you a lot better driver on the street. I've been to like 6 of their schools, and I think about the training everytime i start the car. I even think about it when playing gt3.
annnndd the skills you learn can be transfered from car to car. Some say a driving school is the best mod you could ever do to your car to make it faster and safer. I'd have to say I agree.
