Is it just me or has anyone else witness the madness on the turnpike?



I'm coming home from kentucky yesterday, and hit the turnpike off of I-75. for the next couple hundred miles I don't think the speedo got much below 90 and I was getting passed by people (minivans, beat up sentra's, chevy trucks,LOL!)



I couldn't believe it, at one point in time I was doing 100 mph and got passed by a minivan! There was a convoy of people (at least a group of 40-50 cars) all doing about 100 for the last 30 minutes of my drive.



I was curious what in the world the random cops were thinking (if they even cared) when they passed on northbound and saw 50 cars doing 100+.



Just thought that was funny going to see if you guys had experienced it.

 

I usually notice that the closer to Miami I get the faster everyone goes, both on the Turnpike and I-95.



I guess the police in Miami have better things to do besides write speeding tickets.



Thats crazy, that is a lot of speeders.

 

Truckers are cruising at 75 a lot here now.



The truckers are actually the worst drivers on the highway now, going slow in the centre lane, pulling out to pass another truck going 1/2 km faster, swerving from lane to lane. Yet I've never seen one pulled over.
