hey guys, thought it might be an appropriate time to do an intro thread. I joined here waaay back almost two years ago when I started doing research for my rotary engine/build/swap into my miata.
here's a few pics:
put a lot of time/money into non turbo piston stuff, was sorely disappointed
out you go
this was an 8 month long process where I painstakingly cleaned and ported the parts
also put a pineapple radiused metal inserts in the secondary ports, OMP blocked off, pretty much everything blocked off
and as it sits now
I got it running by pullstarting it, then it ran long enough to set some of it's wiring on fire becuase I had overlooked some stock wiring that was pretty close to the header. an engine bay fire is a pretty decent way to start as a rotary driver.
Since it's currently 3 hours away and I can't work on it, I ordered a set of ITB's for it, and I'll be throwing those on and replacing a lot of the car's wiring next week. I'm pretty stoked that i'll be able to rip it down the road soon.
sup brah
