whats up? I have been a member for a little bit but i havent posted anything yet, so here i go.



I drive a 1993 RX-7 R1 Black (1 of 136) I am currently in the middle of a build up, and we should be done within a few days.

welcome.. although unless its a 94.. there were over 600 black r1s made..

there were less 94 bb r2s produced than bb r1s...

Actually there were 138 Black R1's made in 1993 and 156 Black R2's made in 1994.

owned a brilliant black r1... and it was one of 638

not 138.. the lowest production r1 is the competition yellow mica... and not brilliant black

trust me.. dont know where you are gettin this info...

I dunno about the Yellow Mica R1 being the rarest, but I have heard from many people that Mazda only made about 130-150 Black R1's, and the site where I got my information says they made 138 Black R1's.

mazdausa... try callin them for production numbers...

you cant rely on everything you read on the net...
