Default SAVED!! - 1987 Turbo ii

Hey Guys,

Well, I'm a new rotary owner! Just picked up an '87 model Turbo II.

This car is a former track car, so I'm going to keep it that way. With that in mind, the car needs quite a bit of work. It does have some nice mods, which I will list below plus a link to photobucket.

Currently, the car does run. But, I need to get a tune on it; it starts & idles, but with as much mods on the car, I want to get it checked out and looked at since I'm new at this rotary thing.

I'll be needing some recommendations on brake upgrades. If you take a look at the mods, you can see it's had some money put into it, but you can also tell by the pics, the car needs some TLC. The turbo is new and so is the Mircotech LT10C. The car has potential...

So, for those who do know the turbo cars, your input is welcome!

MODS:
13bt Street ported and rebuilt by Brian Cain of BDC Motorsports w/ ~8000mi on the engine- full rebuild w/ all new seals, hard and soft....cryogenically treated side and apex seals, new bearings, 3rd gen corner seals, RX-8 oil pressure regulator, new everything else. Intake runners and ports expanded and mirror polished. Emissions removed.

Microtech LT10c race computer
BNR Stage 3 turbo
Custom Intake
HKS SSQV BOV - Authentic, "whistle removed"
Ported and Polished Throttle Body - Secondary throttle plates removed
s5 Turbo fuel rails
Five0 motorsports 850/1000cc injectors
Ported Wastegate
Racing Beat Turbo Downpipe - wrapped
Greddy Power Extreme dual exhaust .
Volvo s80 electric fan - wired in properly with relays and circuit breakers, per arghx's write-up. Runs off the stock triggering system, wired so that it fails to the "on" position, a warning lamp is wired into the interior set to turn on when the fan is in operation. I'm paranoid about overheating rotaries, go figure.

Godspeed Aluminum Radiator and FMIC (the new FMIC has not been installed, yet; but I do have the complete kit)
Custom high pressure oil cooler lines - RX-8 oil pressure regulator
Centerforce Stage 2 Clutch-S5 turbo transmission
Walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump
s4 Manual steering rack
OMP disabled, must run pre-mixed fuel
Dual Alternator Pully
Mazdatrix Racing plug wires

ProSport Premium Peak/Hold Gauges - "Defi" style gauges: Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Voltmeter , Boost, and a Wideband O2 sensor
Custom carbon fiber gauge holder - Real carbon fiber by Retr-Spec, replaces the radio surround. Logicon re-located to fit gauges.
Momo classic racing wheel

16" Alloy Wheels - nothing fancy, it's a start, I will upgrade wheels soon
Brand new Falken tires all around
Brand new battery
A/C removed, Radio removed.

Thanks Marc,

Will do!

We're sorting the wiring today and will then bolt on the FMIC. The FMIC kit has plenty of hoses/couplers, but we're going to tig weld it instead. I'll be posting pics of it up as we move forward.
