Hi Gang,
Just got back from a 200 mile introduction to a wonderful 1980 RX7 that I purchased - the car has racing beat springs, KYB Gr2 shocks, and adjustable sway bars as well as Kumho V700s which made for a very fun if stiff ride. The interior, save for the dash, seats, and necessary items has been removed.
The looks from the people in their well insulated yawn-o-boxes put a big grin on my face and the adoring smile of a very cute girl at the local McDonalds just added that that.
The roar from the 1.1L 12a was gruffly conveyed to the world through a cherry bomb muffler - I think I'll replace it with a more sedate model that'll not attract the attention of the revenue collectors in blue.
The car is going to be mostly used for autocross and time trials, but she'll get out and stretch her 1.1L on public street occassionally just to keep the natives restless.
I look forward to having some fun on the forum...the car already has www.nopistons.com stickers on it.
Live Free and Drive,
Keith

Welcome to nopistons! Neat that you kind of inherited membership here.
That's how I found the forum...I figured that the stickers had to mean something...well, other than adding 50hp to the car of course
