Hello and greetings fellow rotorheads....
Been kikin about on the other rex forum for a bit; takin in information, best I can. I've owned a few RXs': FB: 01 FC: 06 FD: 00 none turbos. Currently I own a 1991 convertible that I am in the process of putting a new motor in. I lost a rotor in it march '08. It is a mild street-ported S5 13B with oil mods and 6 port sleeve inserts. I stayed to the mild side with it because I still want the wife to be able to drive it without hassles, and the car to idle on the freeway with the a/c on and not overheat... I still have the first RX-7 I ever bought, in storage, at an aquaintences house. A black '89 GTU. This is hopefully going to be my project car. The PROJECT: A coupe with a hi-compression turbo rotary heart. I want to build a turbo motor from a S5 N/A 6-port motor. I guess it would be a fair assertion that i will be drilling the forums for input/information on building/managing such a beast. I imagine that when the car is finished I will need to have a 'dummy' car to take down to smog, cuz my intentions for 'the Coupe' will be a freakin race car with license plates - stripped & caged, gutted & barren of creature comforts; nuthing but a 'killer' for stalking the streets... The other option was a 20B, and/or a FD... FD's are like sex on wheels, the styling is unmatched. You just dont see to many 'KILLER' FC's, like you do with the FD's.... What chu all think? |
