Okay, a little back story. About a year ago I got my hands on about $5000 to be put onto a car. I had a choice between a SR20DET powered 240sx or a 91 Turbo II Rx-7.

The SR20DET was bone stock, crappy interior, and exterior. Selling for $5000. The tie-rods were f'ed up and a couple of dents here and there.

The rx-7 had a koyo radiator, FMIC, T3/T4 turbo, Greddy E-manage, 3" Greddy Exhaust and was putting down 300rwhp. the exterior was this BEAUTIFUL silver paint, the interior was horrendous though.

So I had to choose. The rx-7 had a bunch of bushings that needed replacing. So anyway, I come down to it, and I choose the pistons over the rotaries simply because I knew so much more about piston engines and I didn't have any time to worry about something going wrong on me wtih the Rotaries. That was my faulting right there. Before these cars, I had owned an MR2. Mind you, I'm 18, but very wise for my age, and quite the modest person also.

So I picked up the Imitation Silvia. 1 year and 10,000 miles later I'm sitting here. My body work is about to be finished all for free by the by, and interior is going to get a nice steam cleaning. Going to fix the A/C and then put the thing on sale. Where I live I can sucker some fools into buying it for about $9000. So far I've put a FMIC, 3" straight through exhaust, intake, MBC set at 10psi, Z32 fuel filter, and a couple of other things.

So what I've been planning is to buy a nice stock 91 RX-7 turbo II around $2k hopefully and put in another 2-3k, make it bust out 280-300rwhp, throw some coilovers on there and rebuild it and make it even more bulletproof than the FC already is.

So anyway, hey everyone, newbie here. How do I make a 400hp monster? How does a rotary work? Vin Diesel used NAWZ with his RX-7 can I do that to my turbo car too? I need to find a cheap body kit, anybody want to help me? I cut my springs the other day and now the ride is bouncing, what is the problem?

Had to get those out. Okay if you got this far, you are already a true hero.

by god man, you shoulda got the 7, and please dont cut your springs or put nitrous in the 7. also dont settle for cheap anything on a 7 your just gonna look stupid and your car is gonna break faster. sorry to look like a dick and dont get me wrong i'm not and this forum isnt composed of dicks either, just helping you out. also with a t2 you might want to settle for a good 285 or so as your goal for hp, a lot more reasonable on your part. and just so you know eric happy meal sucks pee pee, but other then that, welcome to the forum and good luck.

I just assume that if it's gonna be a streetcar, force induction and n2o will not be good for a rotary.... i dunno, i'm probably wrong

Welcome!

How does a rotary work. Two oddly shaped triangles spin to the left in a housing, and goes Zoom Zoom Zoom. Or does it spin to the right. Bah, I forget. Ha!

Welcome to the forum.
