I am a new owner of a '95 fd. The previous owner doesn't remember how many (or which) recalls were done and I want to call Mazda with VIN number in hand to find out myself. Does anyone know the number or where I can find this number? Thanks in advance.

Call your local dealer, they can run the VIN and tell you what TSBs/recalls are still active on your car.

Feel free to ask. We're all pretty friendly.

But yeah, any dealer should be able to give you this info.

No need to call Mazda head office just yet.

I've got the telephone number at mi casa. If it isn't posted before then I will try and dig it up.

If anything has been modified (fixed) on your car relating to emissions or the fuel system the dealer is obligated to put a sticker on the car that says so I do believe.

I just called Mazda's 1 800 number for customer service, and they helped me out. It was pretty easy.

You can find that number in your owners manual, or on Mazda's website. If you register your car on mazda's website, it will also tell you there when you enter the VIN number.
