hello guys. newbie here. registered here to gain knowledge about rotaries. actually, i was intrigued by the 13b turbo-powered kia pride I had watched on youtube. there are quite a lot of "neglected" 13bs laying around here and i am playing on the thought of doing the same ... sometime soon ...

Hi, I am new too. I drive a 85 mazda rx7 rotary. I am looking for a used steering rack box. Do you happen to know where I can buy this?

hey marcia,

do you have the power steering or the actual manual box? if its the box then there ia trick to buy you some time depending on the amount of play. loosen up the adjusting nut on top of the box and slightly tighten it until it just feels snug, but not too much. i did this to mine and i am still riding it 6 years later!!! if you need to replace it i got a perfect unit from a mazda recycling place out of georgia. i think they are mazmart or something like that. dont quite remember the name, but the unit i got is so (almost) new that i did not even use it!! i just adjusted the old one and saved that one for "just in case" use. good luck with that!!
