hey guys/girls,

my name is paul and i will hopefully *soon* be an fd owner.

i am pretty amazed of the simplicty of a rotary engine. before i was even looking at the car, i heard alot of rumors about you guys blowing apex seals and such. now that i read your forum a little bit i see that its mainly due to improper tunning.

i have a few questions and i hope you dont mind to answer them. please dont flame. i am only a confused newbie!

1. what is a bridgeport?

2. why do you guys use such large injectors?

3. how many injectors does an fd have?

4. anybody know a good site that explains this car inside and out.?

5. Can you " diy" rebuid an fd engine?

6. why is going to single turbo so complicated that it needs it own forum?

thats basically it.

i cant wait to drive in this car!!

thanks

1. what is a bridgeport?

A= It's be easier to explain with a picture... But it goes Brap Brap Brap Brap!!!

2. why do you guys use such large injectors?

A= Because we need lots of fuel!! Sorry... I have no REAL explanation

3. how many injectors does an fd have?

A= 4

4. anybody know a good site that explains this car inside and out.?

A= You found it. There are links to all the hows, what's and where's as well as many smart members all over this site. STICK AROUND!!

5. Can you " diy" rebuid an fd engine?

A= Yes. There are even videos available.

6. why is going to single turbo so complicated that it needs it own forum?

A= They are NOT more complicated. We just think we are badass, that's all!

I think it's great that the first few questions needing answers are referring to inner components and how a modification may work--and rebuild possibility. lol
