sup guys, after all these years, i finally took the plunge and purchased an FD.

finally at a point in my life where i can afford the money pit.

picked up a red 93 R1 with 84k miles last night. motor needs a rebuild i think. i really have no clue where to even start.

contemplating a 1j swap, or sticking with the brotary. i made my purchase with the plan to drop a 1j in there, but i may have caught the rotary bug.

anyway, introducing myself so i can get my post count up so i can post a WTB ad in the classifieds...

Welcome to nopistons, congrats on the purchase! Why do you think it needs a rebuild? Compression test come back bad?
