i'm from alberta, canada. been working on cars since i was 10 years old and work in a speed shop(albeit domestic drag racing shop). last year i got my first rotary, a 1985 with a 12a which required putting back together after previous owner slammed it into curb.(why does every idiot think they're a rally/drift star?) diff was pulled out when i got it and had a bent axle and watts link pivot stud. also engine was out and pulled apart. at least it had tokicko illumina adj. shocks/struts and susp. specialties coils. so my first rotary experience was putting the car together. got it together, removed emissions(no air care in alberta), stripped carb, removed rats nest and did header/exhaust. its a fun little car, especially now that header is on and i get flames out muffler when shifting at high rpm. just got a 90 gxl last week and been trying to get it running smooth and ready to go. this one has kei-office coilovers in it. had no dash/park/marker lights. so, after fixing burnt pin in plug that was fixed. had a hunting/bouncing idle and took it for quick ride and engine light would flicker when on gas. got pressure sensor code and am just trying to sort that out, cuz i want to drive this car bad. only wish it had lsd. maybe lincoln lock?
