Dude, you got one hell of a deal!! I would keep that thing as stock as possible man. Keep it running FOREVER! Just work out all the little gremlins that might be in there.
I can see this car running up in the 200k mile range.
Good buy. I payed 1500 for mine, and now I am paying for it because an oil cooler line blew off my 88 and I drove it home like that. Oh well, **** happens.

I am meaning just putting on a filter, maybe a cat back with a high flow cat. Keep it peppy, throw in some sway bars, and some adjustable struts, some springs, better wider tires, rims(if you want). Make it really nice around the turns to where you don't have to put on the brakes for a small turn, and to where you lightly have to tap the brakes for a hair pin turn. Also can put a header on from racingbeat. Might as well put the whole racingbeat catalog on that 7. Could port the motor, I don't know how long it would last you, but no reason to really port a motor unless it is being rebuilt.
But pressure wash that ENGINE BAY first.
Good buy man, hope to see you post here more often.

HAHA I was wondering the same when i met him. Hes actually super smart and nice. One of those guys with too much brains and no where to put it all. You know how those brainiacts always have that weird persona to them. But really he was a nice guy and great to deal with....
