Hello all, I just picked up an '88 RX-7 for a mere $200, from an obviously stupid person who had no idea what he had. Has bad motor but came with working donor from a '90 with 40k miles on the rebuild, have receipts to prove it. Interior is near-mint, needs paint and windshield. I'm jazzed, I have always wanted an RX-7 but never in my wildest imagination did I ever figure I'd pick one up for $200!! My husband is a Nissan buff and knows nothing about rotaries, and sees this as a great opportunity to learn. He has a brain, though, so won't just be ripping things apart. So, what's the verdict, did I get a good deal or what?

Crossville, huh? My dad is an EMS pilot in that area. Anyways, sounds like a deal to me, and you are in the right place.

Yeah it is, that's what drove us to move here from Florida 3 years ago.

Our family has a cabin in Pikeville, just outside Fall Creek Falls park (south of crossville). I love that area, but some of those backwoods locals can be, uh, scary.
