Hello my name alex, iam 16 i have a mazda rx8 ive added a cold air intake and a new exhasut ( i do this to spend time with my dad ) but we do not know what we should do next to add to it. We wanna make it fast price dosent matter we want to add in a twin tubo, etc my grandpa said something abt a msd i should add in it.



If you could give links to reliable sites to buy stuff and wld love any tips.

Welcome tonopistons! That's cool that you're using a rx8 as a father son project. I suggest mazdatrix.com for suspension upgrades. Renisis upgradesare best done in your nearest rotary shop

Thanks!, What do u recommend for a turbo? and do u know anything abt a msd?

Lol msd is a company that makes performance ignition systems. As for turbo's, there's a lot of work that needs done before you can slap a turbo on. Once that work is done then you'll choose one based off of what you want.

If you're looking at engine upgrades, Ecu would be your best bet. With the renesis you can't do many upgrades other than cold air intake and exhaust with the stock ecu

i wanted to help u out so i went and found out what it does etc so basically it changes the engine from stock performance to better performance and i was looking around and found this

I'm not sure which one is the best for the 8 as I haven't owned one lol my fd (3rd gen rx7) I have an a'pexi fc Ecu with commander and really like it but I don't know if it will work with the 8
