It's because the fenders were removed

I extended the front end 8" and lowered it 6". lowered the rear 3" and used 235/75/15 rear tires with 135'S on the front and smoothie hubcaps on stock vw rims.I also cut the front and rear aprons off,It's called a (VOLKSROD)
