Just another new member, i got 3 rx-7's 82 gsl, 85 gs(was daily driver), 85 gsl-se, anyway im here to learn some of the more technical stuff, maybe make a few friends, but dont get me wrong i know my way around a 12a, but now i have adopted a 13b so yeh anyway hello all!
hey, im new as well and i was thinking that maybe you can help me out a little bit if possible. i just recently acquired the repair manual for my RX-7. i noticed that all those fancy vacuum hoses with the plugs connected into them are listed under emissions control and i know that i don't have to pass emissions anymore. To make a long story short, do i still need them or can i just not care about them? I want to get my car in full working order before i start doing some serious stuff to it and if i could just skip over putting all those solenoids and check valves and all that stuff in correct specification it would make my life a lot easier. I also want good gas mileage cuz shes my daily driver so I was wondering if those being out of check would affect that. If you can answer my questions that would be great but if not thank you for your time.

well i assume it has the stock 12a, if so im sure theres a writeup here somewhere, search "rats nest removal" when i did mine it only cost like 10 bucks and took 30 mins or so, not sure that your gas milage would go up though more then likely not, i noticed by removing the rats nest and the air pump that my idle was a heck of a lot more stable and responsive. but thats just my experince so take it for what it is lol.
