Hey whats up everyone!
My names Saulo. I just bought a 1987 GXL FC with about 99k .
I got a great deal on it!
She runs great , not much I can complain but theres always things I want to prevent and look for before anything bad happens.
I had the car checked out before I bought it . And everything checked out fine.
All ive done to it is just replace both front calipers, rotors and pads, for now.
Ive been reading that I should replace the pulsation dampner which can cause a fire.
Im familiar with rotary engines but this is my first time purchasing one .
The car came with all the work history since it was bought back in 87. The car has been taken car off very well.
All I can say for now which I've noticed is , on a cold start she will rev to 3k and climb down to idle , though sometimes she will just stall out , Ill start her up again and she'll idle fine after that.( Usually ill just give a little bit of gas before she stalls out and she'll idle fine )
There is a little bit of smoke or nothing @ all , which is most of the time. ( The only time I noticed smoke coming out is when it was raining last night and damp, which i could see smoke coming out but no more after a bit)
I only got the car for 2000$$$ .
She runs , pulls, great acceleration.
Im very excited to be part of Nopistons and hope to continue to be part of this great team of enthusiast!
