Hello, my name is Bob Palmer and I need to start off with saying I am a used Mazda dealer. I specialize in miatas and Mazdaspeeds but have been having some fun with FDs as well. Have a lot to learn! I have sold three FDs and always want to have one around to drive.

Current project is a 93 Touring with 99 turbos, aftermarket radiator, SMIC, high flow cats, PFC and boost controller. It runs good but has low compression (at least similar numbers across each rotor/chamber). I will probably keep this one.

I figure I will be a net buyer on the forum, looking for pieces and parts and eventually a motor (or rebuild). . Here is a picture of one long gone:[attachment=47174:000_0006.jpg]

Welcome to nopistons! Nice to know there's a seller that's actually interested in learning about the details of the cars they're selling.

Thank you!

I have been out to Rotary Performance a couple of times. I would not mind buying a motor rebuild from them, but I think they insist on removal/install and I have a shop to do that. My building partner, owner of MER (Motorsport Enterprises Racing, goteamMER.com) is a long time rotorhead, so I may tackle it myself. However nothing worse than going through the effort to pull and install a motor that grenades in a couple of thousand miles .

If anyone has a new or barely used quality rebuilt (2 or 3mm) street port shortblock for sale, let me know. New housings a big plus.

Here is a picture of another car thats going to Maryland Friday:

I've yet to drive a first gen or second gen for that matter. I am sure if I do, I'll be looking for those to fix and sell. Nicest thing about being down here is the lack of rust on the older cars......mostly.

BTW, I used to live in Indy and went to school in Greencastle.

Lastly, a picture of my latest and hopefully the one I'll keep:
