Welcome to nopistons!

Keep it well-maintained, and it should be fine. Pusation damper is work checking out. If you're not sure on the prior maintenance history, be sure to do a full tune up. All fluids, filters, spark plugs, spark plug wires, check the condition of vacuum and fuel hoses.

Feel free to post in the 2nd Generation Specific forum, you'll get plenty of good answers to any questions you might have.

welcome! also beside the maintenance, work on your electrical too. Clean up or add new ground wires!

Yeah, iv got new plugs new spark plug wires and the airfilter is new. it has recently gotten an oil change. all the hoses on the car have been replaced (by the previous owner). my primary cup in my master cylinder is leaking fluid so hopefully i will be getting that fixed.

BTW, I meant PD is worth checking out, not work. It's easy to check out, haha. Not sure if that was clear.

Sounds like you're in a good spot then! If your shifter is sloppy at all (common problem), replace the bushings. Super easy and cheap to do, and makes it feel like a new car.
