Howdy guys how's it going? I'm new to the whole scene I was looking for a toy and somehow came across the RX7 and fell in love. Me in an import as a toy never crossed my mind I'm loving the simplicity of the rotary more than anything but the style is undeniably beautiful.. So if anyone would mind shotting my a reply giving me a heads up on any quirks these cars have before I go shopping it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Welcome.

If it isn't running tip-top compression test it first.

Compression testing good advice but I am taking a more typical approach for myself diving in blindly and feeling my way through it a (often proves expensive). So I shall have an rx77 I have never seen or test driven as soon as I win an ebay auction ( which still eludes me I might add) Ok Not smart but I'm a gambler and the cars are seldom seen round these parts. So wish me luck lol.

That's a big risk to take.

I wish I was more patient when I bought my TII.

Don't just jump into getting one like I did, you will be sorry.

But then there's a chance you could get lucky and get a good deal.

You should wait and see the car in person/test drive it.

How much do you have to spend? Where are you located?

Welcome to the club. i'm sure you'll find every body (most at least) to be very helpful. just post a problem and watch how many poeple respond. I'm sure you'll find the rx7 world to be everything if not more than what you'd expected.
