Hi Folks, the names is Rich and I've just acquired my first RX7.

As you may gues from my user name, it's an FC3C, '89, Turbo II, UK rhd. I bought it from my brother-in-law who hadn't used it for few years knowing that it needed some work doing. Here's how it was a few weeks ago:

It's pretty much stock, the floor pan is sound, the electrics all work. I'm awaiting a new conv top from the US and a new zaust which resembles a collendar at the moment. The strange mark on the rear 3/4 is a reflection. After pulling the ignition fuse and turning over for 20s then putting the fuse back, it started first time. It takes a few minutes to settle after being a bit lumpy, but that can be forgiven - for now.

It has just over 60k on the clock - so how likely is it going to be I need new tips?

Cheers for now

Rich

Cheers guys.

She must have been in there 3-4 years I guess? He also has a FD3S Infiniti which hasn't moved now for about 8 months - cash is tight...

The new zaust arrived yesterday and it was like unwrapping a "pass-the-parcel". Guess what I'm doing at the weekend (weather permitting)...
