I tried this forum under a different name before. I got frustrated with the fact that response to my posts were nill -- nada -- nottin. I thought this time I would intro myself and my car. I am closing on 50. Both my son and I own RX's. His an 89 Turbo Two with 25k miles --- mine a 93 twin with 30k miles. Both cars are close to mint. I was going to work on mine this last winter but the kid tied up the garage and my tools and jack stands with his. So I worked on his with him. We stripped out all the emissions and redid the vacuum lines. Stuck in a down pipe and mid pipe. Put in the Walbro, boost gage, blow off- -- etc. Now it is my turn. My plans are to do these mods in this order: Workshop Manual, Alum. AST, down pipe, willow springs cold air intake, ecu, remove emissions, injectors and silicone vacuum lines while I am in there, upgrade the intercooler, de-pressuize the cooling system and strap on a racing beat cat back. I have been fiddling with cars and bikes all my life. I have built drag bikes that run in the nines and pulled and built more than a few V8's. Rotary's have huge potential. Looking forward to getting to know how to work on these.

you might wanna look into upgrading your computer while you're taking out the emissions and freeing up the exhaust

Welcome back! Why have you chosen the Crooked Willow cold air intake? I don't think I've ever actually seen one..

That's cool that you have a father/son thing going on. When I was 15, my dad would take me to race R/C trucks; but he never encouraged my passion for motorworks. So do we have pics of this duo of rides?

Hey Leadfoot

Don't feel old, I have you by 7 yrs.

Do yourself a favor.

When your doing your vacuum lines and injectors, replace the pulsation dampener

while your in there.

Welcome to the madness.

Consider changing out the radiator - go all aluminum (Koyo and Fluidyne are popular).

Are you going to Put bigger injectors in? Then you will need some sort of programmable engine managment...
