I'm new here

Just wanted to introduce myself. I had a beautiful 1985 RX-7 GS with 23,000 original miles until it was stolen mid august last year (One month before I moved from Michigan to California). I currently drive a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT, and attend UTI (Universal Technical Institute). I graduate from school next week (top of my class, and a 4.0 GPA) and will then move to Nashville. I plan on finding another FB once I get there, and do a full build on it. I'm looking forward to learning alot from this forum and meeting new people.

I used to go to Gratiot once in a while to check out the dealerships, but that's about it. I wasn't into racing back in Michigan. But now that I live close to the street racing capitol of the west (which is Ontario, California, and I'm in Rancho Cucamonga) I've done a little street racing here. I'm not saying it's okay to do, but I've done it, so oh well. In case anyone's interested, I dyno'd my Elantra at 128hp, and 127tq. I just have a shortram intake, throttle body coolant bypass, and ported/polished throttle body. I've taken out a couple integras and kias. And came pretty damn close to a '65 mustang V8 (which was running like crap at the time, but it still made me feel good).

I only CRUISE on gratiot & meet up with my buddies not race. But on chipiwa it's another story, the street is blocked off with a good 3 lane stretch about a half mile far.It has a private & almost abandoned airport right next to it.They don't race out there until like 2:30am-3:00am anyways.I had a rx7 meet at my house last year and we all went out to watch the races on plymouth & outer dr.When I rebuild my motor you will see me out there alot. But the best place is Milan Dragway hands down.
