My name is David, I live in Monroe CT. I have an 87 Rx7 I did a TII conversion on it about four years ago. Or should I say started it. I rebuilt the motor and got every thing bolted in and wired. This included a new at the time Haltech E8. I never got it running and it ended up under a pile of **** in the garage. Well I took all of the sit off it fixed all of my old errors (I think) and have started to tune. I am having a very tough time getting a decent idle. I do have a vacuum leak at the shaft for the secondary butterflies (DNA 90mm throttle body orderd). I don't think it is bad enough to cause my problem. I found it by preasurizing The TB and UIM
to 16 psi. I'm thinking timing and I really have no idea what the timing should be at 750-1000 rpm with no load.
I really hope this is the place to get mature factual answers. since I'm a noob I'll probably have the new TB before this is posted.
