I don't own an RX-7, but the rotaries have captivated me for years. Either tomorrow or the next day, I am buying a 12A engine for $100, running condition... just to take apart and see exactly how she ticks. you can only learn so much from a book.

That's exactly how I looked at it. Still planning on buying a blown up 13b rew and rebuilding it. I don't have an FD anymore, but when I get another one, at the least, I'll have a spare engine. *If it all come's together..

I'm trying to learn about the engines. So far I have learned from here that:

-13B is better than 12A

-20B is the 'god' engine.... hence the godly price for one.

**-You can't just 'turbo' an N/A engine with bolt-ons. (so I hear?)

** are the 13B N/A and Turbo different blocks altogether? Or are the internals just different? Someone tell me the difference, please.

It's a little more difficult to turbocharge a n/a engine, but it can be done. Welcome aboard.
