Default Hi people I have a tricky problem

Hi
Jason from New Zealand here, I have a very big problem I am hoping you guys might have come across before or might have an idea.
I have recently bought a s5 13b pp the guy I bought it off had fully rebuilt it ALL new seals and bearings. Housings appear mint no chrome peel, cracks ect plates are within spec.
Engine done 100 odd kms, to cut a long story short I got it compression tested it, reading 55 psi even on both rotors, so I rebuilt engine myself with new apex seals and springs.
Compression tested before start up reading 120 psi even both rotors. Then I started it, it started straight away ran for a minute turned it off then wouldn't start. I compression tested again and it's back to having no compression at 55 psi on both rotors???? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Regards Jason Mcguire

Yea very odd, I was thinking the the intake ports too. There was no noticeable cracks in the spark plug area. At first I thought other dude b4 me might have leaned it out an bent apexs, but the second time I started it from new an it definitely didn't lean

Welcome .What apex seals are you using , sounds like they are bowing sit the apex seal face on a known flat surface like a sheet of glass with a light behind it and see if seal is flat or warped

Hi, the dude I bought it off put Ssa unbreakables apexes in it my first thought was he had leaned it out an bent them. When I built it I put factory Mazda apex. This whole problem has me scratching my head as I don't where the compression is going as b4 start up was 120 psi. Thanks
