Hi whats up people? My name is Matt, currently an owner of a 1993 Nissan Silvia. Yes I know its not a rotary, but I signed up to do research for my friends 87 Turbo II. Its in really pristine condition, motor was recently replaced (91k miles, blew it up due to running too lean in 4th, blew out 5 of 6 apex seals >_<), body is in pristine condition, etc. Here's what he has so far:
Fresh block from Smokin' Joe Racing
ARC top mount intercooler
3" Racing Beat exhaust, turbo back
550 primaries
750 secondaries
upgraded fuel lines (engine compartment only)
HKS boost gauge
MSD 6A box
fresh brakes all around
16x7 Super Advan wheels with 205/55/16 Toyo T1R tires.
My friend is not super crazy about making enormous amounts of horsepower...hes currently looking to make 250 or so to the wheels, reliably. A wideband will make its way into the car, as will an AFC, Fuel pressure and EGT gauges, as will new suspension (and fix the sunroof at one point). He doesnt get online all that much because of his busy schedule, and since I am more gearhead inclined than he is, Ive taken it upon myself to do more research about the 13b. Glad to be here!
