I've been on rx7club.com for a few months now and thought I would register over here to see what I'm missing. I have a '94 Brilliant Black PEP that I bought in February for $7500. It had a few of the stock parts taken out and boxed up since there had been performance parts in their place and I'm filling the holes.

The previous owner left it with a Street/Strip ACT Clutch, Bönez 3" Downpipe, and the fan switch mod in the way of aftermarket stuff along with most of the stock parts excluding a radiator and a tailpipe. I've got a new Koyo Aluminum Radiator sitting next to me with the fans on it ready to go into the car, a Bönez 3" Main Converter arriving tomorrow, and a Racing Beat Dual Tip Catback coming in on Tuesday next week so I'm hoping that'll be enough to make it run... and... *gulp* smog... in California... yea...

And I'll post a pic of the steering wheel actually mounted with the hub in a sec.

Welcome to nopistons! We are a whole lot better than rx7club geez! Your car looks good man. You seriously paid 7500 for it? What all did you get in that deal? Where in Cali are you? Sometimes in Cali you gotta "smog" it. lol at some hole in the wall shop hand the guy $200 and it will pass! Just like magic!

Yep. I paid $7500 plus whatever the tax was to the DMV. I got the car as it looks in the two exterior shots in non-running condition with no radiator, and the intercooler and everything past the downpipe taken off (also, I'm not too sure about the vacuum lines yet but I'm working on those). The interior was basically the same as that picture but without the steering wheel (it was stock) and without the custom shifter and e-brake boots. It was a pretty sweet deal and I still wonder how I stumbled upon it. I turned 17 only a few days ago and have had the car for about 9 months now so it was truly a dream come true.

Right now, I've got the complete exhaust installed but haven't been able to listen to it growl yet.

Right now I'm waiting on my Greddy Elbow, FMIC, and Type RS BOV to come so I'll have the parts to mount my Koyo radiator upright and button up my intercooler setup. I've also got the Hose Techniques Vacuum Hose Kit from RX7Store sitting next to me which is going to prove to be a challenge but I've got some resources down here that I can turn to.

Next, if it runs decently I'll be looking at the Greddy Dual Intake and their Front Strut Bar. I'll probably be looking at fixing the interior as well (no more tan and blue... I'm going to hopefully dye the carpet and recover the seats in black with blue piping). Something sort of similar to (see below) with a little less rice:

Sukai94: I live in SoCal... Oceanside to be exact. I've definitely considered the "smog" route but I've heard promising things about my setup although I've also heard some discouraging things about it. I don't plan on being forced to remove my entire 3" exhaust to get it smogged though.

And I love your wheels, man. I've always been a fan of the black with the polished lip.
