Hey everyone, I just recently bought a 1990 RX-7 coupe. Im glad to have found a forum specifically for rotary powered vehicles. But hey the owner of the car before me overheated it and I will be rebuilding the engine her within the month so any tips or tricks will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. If your planning on doing the rebuild yourself, and dont know what to do, buy the DIY video. There might still be an ongoing group buy for it.

Greetings, Salutations and Welcome.

I'd say that upon rebuilding an overheated lump you should pay twice as much attention to measuring things like the plates and such. Maybe teardown before you start ordering parts just in case.

There is a metric ****-ton of good info. around here, especially the rebuild section. Have fun with it.

Cheers

Welcome. It is helpful to post your location, so we can direct you to local resources.

Wait until you have torn down and inspected the engine vefore yo order parts.
