I have a friend ruin his engine doing that all the time. Revving like that with no load. Be careful.

kahren's n/a fc can shoot continous 4foot high flames.....i know i was in the car with no hatch on it haha

ya ive set it to pig rich and done that too. one of the friends got a clip of me just holding a flame on the freeway. oh and about the revving i thought i was fine as long as my msd boxes are workin.

Remember, when you free rev, the engine spins up super fast. The bearings don't like to be accelerated that fast. Regardelss if it's a piston, rotary, two stroke, 4 stroke. Doesn't matter, for a rotary it is the bearings that will be punished. For a piston the crank main bearings, and connecting rods that suffer. It has to do with piston head speed.
