Hi guys.

Just found myself wondering on to this forum as a way to avoid doing any work and though I should sign up.

My names Chris, I’m 20 and from the UK. I own a 92’ RX-7 Type R (Jap import). I’ve had it for about 3 months now and its been an interesting experience! 200 miles into my return trip with the RX one of the injectors died at high revs and killed a tip!

Car was taken to WGT in Cheshire, UK for a rebuild within a few weeks and has now been with me for 800 miles. Remap and service due in 200 miles (which will be covered my trip to the garage!). While it was there I had a few mods done and the spec now stands like this:

WGT Rebuilt, ported and soon to be mapped engine

Samco coolant hoses

High flow non-sequential turbos

Apexi PFC and commander

Forge intercooler with lightweight aluminium pipes.

Upgraded fuel pump

1600 secondary injectors

K&N Twin Induction

Aftermarket downpipe

WGT decatted midpipe

Racing beat twin tailpipe

PWR aluminium race radiator

Greddy Profec b II boost controller

Water Injection

Aluminium AST tank

Aircon / Airpump removed

Pulley kit to accomodate the above

Hks boost gauge mounted on a ReAmemyia column mount.

Hks oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauges

Battery relocated to the boot.

RPS clutch

Body

Fully respray body and kit in milano red

Full Re-Amemyia body kit

ReAmemyia wing mirrors

Ultralite 18 inch alloys

Single wiper conversion

Original fibre glass Scoot bonnet with flush bonnet pins

Sleek light conversion – hopefully to be changed soon!

99 spec rear lights

Suspension

Tein super flex fully adjustable springs and dampers

An extra ARC anti roll bar at the front

ARC chassis stiffening bars at the rear

Brakes

Grooved disc's

Black Diamond pads

I’ve got some porsche big red callipers which may or may not go on – still undecided

Interior

Corbeau carbon fibre seats

Luke 6 point harnesses

Sony Xplod CD unit and sony Xplod speakers front and rear.

And finally, a pic

The lightcovers are only on in the picture because of the damn british weather!

Happy motoring

Chris

Hey, that's actually quite catchy! Have you run that past Scott? He may be interested in using it in the promotional literature for nopistons.

And yes! The 7 looks great!

Thanks for the comments!

The car was running 300rwhp before the rebuild, and since then I’ve added the WI and up-rated secondary injectors. I think its about ready for a nice big single upgrade sometime this year!

The problem with the sleek lights is they are from the US - as such the light ‘flicks’ up to the right and blind oncoming traffic rather than putting light on the road. The light is so bad I really don’t want to drive it at night

I've think I've worked out how to modify them to make them comply with UK law and get the light down but I'm undecided on if I prefer these or the original popups! If they worked better I wouldn’t change them.
