This is like stepping into another reality, welcome to no pistons. I'm like a kid again.

Hi there HellCat,

I would like to thank you for becoming part of the Rotary online community. It is great to be in contact with someone who has first hand experience of the elusive Lada Rotary,

You say that you work for a Rally team? Is it a rotary race car?

Is it true that VAZ is still manufacturing these rotary engines? if so, what is the cost of them, and thier parts?

Does the engine in your car have a carburettor or a single point fuel injection system?

BTW I also drive a front wheel drive rotary...a NSU Ro80!

Regards

Case Sinclair

In rally we use piston engines.

Vaz is manufacturing engines for automotive use(full engine kit costs apr. $2500-3000).
