Hello All. I'm 24 years old, living in Moscow, very interested in rotary engines rebuilding and porting( at this time i rebuild my Lada Samara an going to Peripheral Port with Weber 48ida on it).At picture not completed stock Lada Samara with RCE and me (summer 2003). Dead at 8000 km(winter 2004) and now rebuilding(as i said before).

Yeah....I'm so curious about everything to do with this car. I have a funny feeling that things gonna be a sick sleeper when it's done. I never thought I'd see a wrong wheel drive rotary, but that's pretty cool! Nice work so far man. Keep us posted with the progress.

I did it myself, but Lada did that cars at factory(Silver car at "Not Escort" post.

BTW - Excuse my ignorance of manufacturers there. But, who builds that engine it is definatly not a Mazda block.

Wow. Not only is that sick, but custom as you can get. Looks to me like the engine is place in there horizontally. Weird, but very very cool. That thing must haul major ass. Too bad it is front wheel drive.

Do you have the older rotaries over in Russia, like the RX-2 RX-3 RX-4's. Anything from before the first gen rx-7? Supposedly somebody bought a RX-3 over in Holland with 0 miles on it. Straight from the dealers, all original. Thanks for joining nopistons also, and enjoy yourself. |
Not really saying it is bad. RWD is just better for drag racing over here, and autox and drifting. But for just everyday driver, is great to me. I would not want a RWD car in snow or rain.
I could care less, but would rather take AWD over anything. |
There're some rx7 in Moscow. My car for daily driving(street slalom), and with Russian climate FWD better.
