My name is Crystal, I bought a 2007 RX-8. Only thing I have done to it so far is change the spark plugs and wires. Was told it would be hard but it was quite easy. Been debating on taking the offer on selling my car due to not knowing anything about a rotary motor but have done well with piston engine's in the past. Wanting to know if the part expenses are a lot higher and if they are hard to find. If it's something that I can learn to work on myself. As I have found out to pay someone to work on them is hard to find and when you do it's extremely expensive. I love the car and it's uniqueness but how much time and money will I be putting in to this car? It's almost at 100,000 miles. I have pictures uploaded. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
