Welcome to nopistons! I would take it to a professional upholstery shop to do the top. The door handles often break, you can replace it with a junkyard one and swap the locks so your key still works, but it requires removing the door panel and working in the tight space of the door. I'd recommend doing that with a friend or family member that has some mechanic experience.
