You cant import ANY cars until they are 15 years old? What do you all drive then, old cars?
No No No...

U can import cars that are newer, but they have to be complianced! There are only a certain amount of compliance plates issued for cars that come into the country.... As for cars that are older that 15 years, u dont need to put a compliance plate on it, just need to get it road worthy, and upto Autralian Standards so it passes inspection, then u can regirster it and away u go! Much cheaper for a 15 year old car, coz it usually cost from 3 grand to get a compliance for a Nissan Silvia upto about $10,000 for a Nissar Pulsar GTiR.

3k for a Silvia, and 10k for a Pulsar, lol, that seems backwards, I haven't seen a Pulsar in the U.S. in years, I can't imagine anyone wanting one, and it cost's more for inspection than a Silvia which I wouldn't mind driving at all!

Oh yeah, welcome to nopistons! Nice FC, it fits well with your other assets...

Here in Australia there was only one place that compliances Nissan Pulsar GTiR's and he was in Melb, so i guess he could charge wot he wanted! These pulsars still fetch about $20,000 for a half decent vehicle here!!

Check out the link below for pix of the car:
