yep rotary junkie here looking to get back in the game. my previous project was a 93 non-sequential TT fd3 with 3" cat delete RB exaust, boost controller, BOV with stock boost, B&N shifter, eneki wheels, and neglected when i bought it. took it to rx7world for a much needed fuel system service, vacuum lines drilled and slotted rotors, hawk pads, RP full rear bushing kit, RB springs and struts all around. when i got it back it was amazing dyno'd @333whp on hi boost. the turbo mod made it a pretty effective street dog. ONe night i was cruising the strip and some girls pulled up and was all "hey, nice car! what kind is it?" I said it was a porsche and those dumb bitches believed me. lol. the girls followed us to the club and my friend, who drove a SC cobalt SS, got laid that night. but i accepted an offer and the car was gone. those memories will last forever. so i test drove a low mileage shinka the other day and the way that hi-revving NA goodness was sucking my foot into the accelerator, well, you know what i mean. anyway i am back in the game and I am on the hunt for an rx-8 and would consider a car with a blown motor but obviously a running one would be ideal. I live not far from pettit racing and although rx7world doesnt really exist anymore i know the guy and he still builds out of a private shop, and he's a genious with 13b's but i would let pettit do my renesis.
