haha thanks, the previous owner actually took the pic in oklahoma. as it sits now it doesn't have the lip and some of the paint's gone from the lower part of the bumper from hitting a raccoon at 75 :P



they let you on texas world speedway?! where is it and how do i get on it. I've only been able to find stinkin autocross races around me where my turbo wouldn't have enough time to spool up, i want a real damn track! haha

Several groups do HPDE's at TWS, which is just south of College Station. I instruct with The Driver's Edge, but TWS also organizes its own events. The HPDE's mostly use the 2.9-mile road course which excludes the banked turns but uses all of the front "straight" and can be run either CW or CCW. Miatas stay down low on the banking; the more power y'all have, the more banking you use.



Driver's Edge also does an occasional event at TMS in Fort Worth, using the roval configuration which provides almost a full lap of the bowl plus the infield twisties. The fast guys really get to stretch their legs on that one.

I'll definitely check that out when I'm back. on 287 north of dfw there's a stretch that's completely flat and you can see for miles. with my previous build i topped out 4th at 160mph. chickened out and backed off after that as prior to the fastest i'd done was 120 haha
