Erm, like all things new, there a couple of bugs and glitches to be ironed out. The A1 pit crews and mechs were having problems with temperature expansion of the wheel lock nuts. They didn't come out.
All in all, most of the drivers, IMHO weren't pushing much, with the teams and drivers trying their best to nail the setup and getting used to the cars in general. The most aggressive of the lot would be team A1 Switzerland and France. France nailed a perfect overtaking manouvre in the Turn 1-2-3 combo *thumbs up*
As for the empty spaces in the stands, well, motorsports isn't all that popular in Malaysia. Usually happens in the first year of any new series. Likewise, in the first year that JGTC came to Sepang, the grandstand was emptier than now, but was packed the following year.
Been wishing that our level could go up to the ones in Japan where they view the whole event as a family outing...
