Ater messing around with a well used 81 about 15 years ago, I've finally found a single owner 85 S. Happy to be here.

Is it a wrap around im? Or does it come straight out? I was told the intake I had on my fb was a rare one, really wish I still had the car :/

very nice! - this is a wrap around one piece, with more torque due to the longer runners, compared with the down draught weber.

Mine was side draft right off the block. There was maybe a half inch between the top of the filter to the strut tower

hoy hoy!

I got the DCOE installed! the manifold finally arrived. A question about the oiling tubes; can I leave them disconnected and put the metering block actuator rod in the down position and just run premix? I worked out the ratio to about 14oz per full tank or 1/4 oz per litre.

yes, photos to follow

Or you can get the block off plates and remove the omp and oil injectors lol premix is a rotary's friend
