Thought I would introduce myself and show off my RX7 a bit. I know it's not a rotary anymore, but I think anyone can come to accept it



I'm pretty content with it now after years of work and lots and lots of hard earned money.



I figured I would post her completed and get some feedback.



I have taken this car to SEMA the last few years and have been in a few magazine shoots and have a room full of awards at this point.

wow thats hot! shame its not a rotary but its damn hot. how much power is the 2jz putting out? thats an engine from a supra isnt it?

I'm running 1JZ from a Chaser, not a 2JZ, though both are Supra motors. You can do either motor swap just as easy. The 1JZ is smaller but has working VVTi and pulled 438HP at the wheels the last time I had it on the dyno with the setup shown.

Nice. We've got a few of the vvti engines in FDs over here. They're damned cheap engines and if you want something bulletproof and don't want a lazy v8, this is a good way to go. I'd never give up my rotary engine though.

It would fit an FC, they actually sell mounts for it if you search google.
