So I'm driving south on US1 last night/this morning at like 12:30 AM and I see a silver Z06 drive by. I was thinking "Hmmmm... I wonder how I compare to one of these." I ask my friend in the passenger seat if he thinks I should and he goes "Well, it's up to you... But I think you should do it." So I get next to him and start trying to get him to race me. All of a sudden my friend in a mini van flies by him and throws his hazards. lmao... I think that got him a little upset. For like 5 minutes he wont even look at me. All of a sudden he hits it. I'm in third gear so I give it a clutch kick and I start to walk him very slowly. Now I'm not sure whether he was WOT or not, but he was deffinetely giving it more gas. Within 3 seconds of him seeing me do this, he let off. I was like "WTF?! You get an upgraded, FASTER, $55,000 LS6 Corvette with 405 hp and he won't race my 1.3 liter." The guy wasn't even old. He was like 24 years old. I was pissed, and hysterical at the same time. Oh well... I figured it was worth posting.



It makes him look so much worse for me to say "A Z06 wouldn't even race me" than "I beat that Z06"

 

rofl...there was a guy in the mobile in jensen beach this morning complaining to another guy about how some kid tried to race him last nite in an import...he was driving a silver vette too..lol......i wonder if...

 

LMFAO! Was it a new Z06? The one I was trying to race had the fancy rims and air ducts.

 

it had chrome rims..dunno if it was a Z06, he was on one side of the gas station and i was on the other(Hess in front of JB publix) and he was gone before I got outta the store



...the guy was older(35-45) and had a mustache.
